Barron's picked up my article this week on the stock market crash of 1987,

Risk-Hungry Investors Should Remember Black Monday. (if a pop-up Barron's ad appears as the link opens, Press the "X" at the top right of the ad to remove the subscription ad) I received many thoughtful comments from Barron's readers. Some readers thought the story was terrific but a work of fiction (it is definitely true), and others wondered why you would ever look back to the distant past (one comment suggested I look back to 1929!). It was fun writing the article, it was not fun in 1987.

It's a great piece, Tim, and a timely reminder that history repeats if we we forget the past.
